Most of my day is spent sitting in front of a computer, looking at either screens of code, content or graphics.
I'm a Zend Certified PHP5 Engineer with a Google Analytics IQ Certification. I hold a degree Philosophy from the School of Cognitive and Computing Science in Sussex University.
I specialise in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and jQuery. I've worked full time as a web developer since 2005, though the first website I built was in 1999.
I write my code by hand using Netbeans, and I manage my workflow with Subversion.
I use Photoshop CS6 and Inkscape for most of my design work.
I build websites, I build eCommerce platforms, I build internal customer record management systems. I do some design and branding work, and some SEO and content generation.
I've written a few articles for web design publications, and I have a few more in the pipeline.
I've spent the last few years developing a pay-monthly website platform for small businesses called User Friendly Websites which now allows me to deploy incredible websites at a fraction of their bespoke cost. I have very high hopes for the success of that platform.
